Talented and accomplished Executive Producer, Producer/Director with extensive background in Canadian as well as Arab Television and Media. Recognized for ability to create and develop TOP NOTCH Productions and Television Franchises. Adept at penetrating new markets with a proven ability to implement effective Western-TV, production standards that enhance productivity and increase efficiency.

Badry is heralded for being the creator of over 100 TV series & specials throughout his 20 year career, Badry got his start after college in Ontario, Canada creating his first Entertainment Magazine TV show called Metro Café for ‘W’ Canada back in 1994. After four years on air, Badry was recruited by CTV Canada in 1997 to produce a series of music specials for a long list of Canadian Rock Stars. In 2001, Craig Broadcasting offered Badry to play a key role with the launch of MTV Canada in a historic deal with Viacom. Badry was also appointed Supervising Producer/Director of SELECT (a daily, Live, 90 minute entertainment & variety series featuring Rock Star in-studio interviews, studio audience, video clips & games). Two years and 500 episodes later, Craig Broadcasting asked Badry yet again to develop live shows for their newly launched station ‘Toronto One’ in 2003.

In 2004, MBC Group in Dubai recruited Badry, where he was offered the position of Senior Executive Producer creating his first Arab TV show for MBC called Joelle (Still Running in it’s 10th year). Badry also helped launch season 1 and directed the Top Rated, Live, Ramadan series (HoroufwaOlouf) as well as numerous Western format Lifestyle & reality shows. In 2006 Badry was offered the job of ‘General Manager’ of Much Music Arabia (Under License by Much Music Canada). Also that year, Much Music’s sister company asked Badry to serve on the Management Board to launch ‘Fatafeat’ (the Arab world’s first Food Channel). In 2007, Rotana recruited Badry as Head of Programming of Rotana Music where he served for 2 years. In 2009, Badry was offered to rejoin MBC Group as Senior Manager (Youth Brand) where he created, developed and directed the Top rated series DRIVEN for MBC Action. In 2012, MBC asked Badry to take over as Senior Creative In Charge/Director of ‘Stars on Board’ (MBC’s successful, All-Star-Cast, Reality and Adventure/Cruise line franchise). Badry directed seasons 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Stars on Board and is currently in pre-production of the sixth season. In 2013, Badry Co-created the Format series Dr. Chef (MBC4’s daily, Well Being, Cooking and Lifestyle Magazine show) on which he also served as Head of Creative and Editorial Content.

Early 2014, Badry joined forces with Maya Ghosn and Yuri Tamer and formed RTB (Ready to Broadcast).
